Meet Alex Reid, the newest addition to TF Law’s team of attorneys! Alex graduated from Hampton University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and continued his education at Charleston School of Law where he graduated in 2019 with a JD. While in law school, he interned for Curry Law Firm where he mainly worked in Criminal Defense. Alex has also worked at Colleton County Public Defender’s Office in Walterboro, South Carolina, and also at Charleston County Public Defender’s Office in Charleston, South Carolina. He has been admitted to the Charleston Bar as well as the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Alex is licensed to practice in South Carolina and is looking to handle as many cases as he possibly can.
Alex was born in Gastonia, North Carolina, and grew up in Rome, Georgia. His father has a long career in the car business while his mother’s career is in education. Alex has participated in soccer clubs and also plays the saxophone. Being a person of color living in a small town, he saw a lot of injustice. This sparked his interest in law for the purpose of wanting to help his community along with those who need fair legal representation. Throughout his college years, he was also a part of the Black Law Students Association and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Alex became a lawyer for one simple reason, to help people. He wants to give his clients his very best and fight tooth and nail for their rights. Alex treats all his clients with unyielding respect and effectively communicates to reach a favorable outcome using his knowledge, skills, and experience.
